Sensewise Privacy Policy

Sensewise Air & Pollen ("Sensewise") is an iOS app for environmental context and planning. It shows local air, pollen, weather, UV, humidity, and pressure signals through a body-comfort lens.

Sensewise does not require an account. Sensewise does not include ads, tracking, analytics, social features, or third-party advertising SDKs.

Information Processed by the App

Sensewise may process the following information to provide app functionality:

• Current location or a manually selected city, used to fetch local environmental data.
• Saved body-comfort profile and signal watchlist.
• Notification settings and selected daily briefing time.
• Cached environmental snapshots and seven-day trend history.
• Local calibration feedback, if you use feedback controls.
• A device or installation identifier used for app functionality such as backend request handling.

Saved profiles, notification preferences, cached summaries, trend history, and calibration feedback are stored on the device.

Location and Environmental Data

Sensewise uses location or manual city selection to fetch environmental data. Backend-bound coordinates are rounded before request for environmental lookup. The app may request data from the Sensewise Cloudflare Worker, which then calls environmental data providers such as OpenWeatherMap, Google Pollen, and Open-Meteo.

The app uses this data to show environmental context, the Body Comfort Index, trends, local notifications, and the Environmental Exposure Summary.

Tracking and Advertising

Sensewise does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. Sensewise does not show ads and does not use advertising SDKs.

Data Linked to You

Sensewise does not link collected data to a user account because the app does not have accounts.

Data Not Linked to You

For App Store privacy reporting, Sensewise may disclose:

• Coarse Location, used for App Functionality.
• Device ID or installation identifier, used for App Functionality.

These are not used for tracking.

Third-Party Services

Sensewise uses infrastructure and environmental data services to provide app functionality:

• Cloudflare Worker, used as the Sensewise backend proxy/cache.
• OpenWeatherMap, used for weather, air-quality, and geocoding data.
• Google Pollen, used for pollen data when available.
• Open-Meteo, used for recent weather and air-quality trend history.

These services may process requests needed to return environmental data. Sensewise does not sell personal data.
